At Swedeheart Childcare, we are committed to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for your child. Our philosophy is rooted in fostering a lifelong love of learning while respecting each child’s unique needs and abilities.
We believe that children thrive when their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs are met. By embracing a holistic view of development, we encourage children to explore, wonder, and learn through play. Our goal is to create an environment where curiosity is celebrated, and learning happens naturally. Play is the cornerstone of childhood. When children laugh, wonder, explore, and imagine, they are associating learning with joy. We champion hands-on, child-directed play. By offering age-appropriate educational and social opportunities, we empower children to discover who they are and how the world works.
Health & Safety
At Swedeheart Childcare, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all of our children. Our facilities are designed to meet the needs of young learners, and comply with the standards of DCYF, the fire department, and the City of Woodinville. Our play areas offer a variety of materials, toys, and real-life objects that foster creativity and learning. We support the children’s development and interests, while being aware of the potential risks and hazards.
We do our best to keep the children healthy, by following regular cleaning protocols, washing hands frequently, checking temperatures and most importantly, keeping children home when they are sick. Handwashing is essential for maintaining a healthy and clean environment for ourselves and the children. We wash our hands and the children’s hands frequently throughout the day.
We follow the cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting procedures recommended by the Washington State Department of Health and the WAC guidelines to maintain a clean and healthy environment for children and staff.
